Rakesh qualified as a Solicitor in July 2013 and joined Farani Taylor Solicitors in 2017. He has a sound grasp of the subject matter and an impetus for examining critical issues in contemporary society from a legal perspective. He deals with a range of complex immigration matters of all areas of business and personal immigration to the UK; challenging policies in difficult matters. He has considerable expertise in finding solutions for individuals with complex problems, specializing in obtaining judicial review and injunctions for people who are facing removal or in immigration detention. He specialises in Human Rights, Asylum, Nationality and Immigration matters including entry clearance, Long Residence applications , Point based system , EEA nationals and their non-EEA family members, work permit and student applications.
Rakesh also undertakes Civil litigation matters covering debt recovery, money claim and charging order. Rakesh appears in County Court to represent clients.
Rakesh achieved Master of Laws (LLM) with merits from the University of East London in 2009 and completed GDL from the College of Law, London Bloomsbury. He is a member of The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.
