Biography

Ishratara Islam LL.B is a family law solicitor. She joined Farani Taylor in September 2017 and she has been practising as a qualified solicitor since March 2008. She has undertaken work experience as a legal practitioner within central government, local government, charity organisation and private practice.  

Specialising in all areas of family law, she regularly acts for clients’ in divorce matters with financial aspect, domestic abuse, children act applications and public law proceedings concerning children where there is social service interest. 

With a broad client base, Ishratara has acted for high net worth individuals as well as those unable to pay for legal advice and who need access to legal aid. She is known for her calm and pragmatic manner. She is continually recognised for her excellent client care skills and sound advice.

Ishratara has built a good rapport with Barristers and third-party agents which assists in ensuring smooth progression of cases.
