Are you an experienced business person looking to establish a business in the UK?
In contrast to the Start-up visa route, this route is for more experienced non-EEA citizens looking to establish a business in the UK or have a viable business idea.
The application process depends on whether you want to set up a new business, or your business is already established and has previously been endorsed. The main difference is that a new business must have at least £50,000 in investment funds.
As with most applications, there are stringent requirements outlined below:
- You must be at least 18 years old;
- You must be a non-EEA citizen;
- You must meet the English Language Test;
- You must want to set up or run a business in the UK;
- If the endorsing body is not certifying your maintenance, you must evidence maintenance funds for 90 consecutive days;
- If you want to set up a new business, you must have at least £50,000 in investment funds.
This is a demanding application subject to a number of set criteria and complex guidance. We will advise you on the process, and documentary evidence required.
