Jahangir Moghal is Head of the Immigration Department and one of the partners at Farani Javid Taylor.

Semira is a senior member of Farani Javid Taylor and deals in the areas of Family Law, Immigration and Civil Litigation.Semira has worked in immigration law since 2006, dealing with all kinds of Home Office applications and appeal processes of Home Office refusals; including High Court appeals as well as Asylum and Immigration Tribunal Appeals. She qualified as a Solicitor in April 2009 and is a specialist in business immigration matters and has detailed knowledge and experience of the points based system.
Semira obtained a Commendation at the LPC and speaks fluent Turkish. Her valued opinion and high standing within the community often sees her contributing and advising local press. She also arranges free legal advice sessions in her own time, within Turkish Community Centres.
Uma Devi Rajasundram – Solicitor

Adeeb Chowdhry – Solicitor
Adeeb Chowdhry is a Solicitor specialising in UK Immigration and Nationality Law, Civil Litigation and Property Law. He completed his Legal Practice Course from The College of Law in 2008 and was admitted as a solicitor in March 2011. Adeeb has experience in Business Immigration and specialises in Tier 1 Entrepreneur visas. |Vian Sulevani – Canadian Solicitor/Barrister
Vian Sulevani is leading the Canadian immigration division of Farani Javid Taylor.Vian represents clients in all Canadian immigration and citizenship matters, including the preparation and submission of applications for temporary and permanent residence in Canada. Vian regularly advises her clients with respect to work permits, labour market opinions, federal skilled workers, sponsorship, study permits, criminal inadmissibility, business investors and admission to Canada pursuant to NAFTA and other international treaties. She makes submissions to embassies, consulates, high commissions and visa posts, as well as ports of entry and inland immigration processing centres.
Vian attended the Joint J.D./LL.B. Program at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy, where she received her American and Canadian law degrees. |Sheryar Khan – Advisor
Sheryar Khan holds a double bachelors degree in engineering and law; graduating with a 2:1 in both. He completed his Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in 2008 and was subsequently called to the bar by Lincolns Inn in 2009. He has extensive knowledge and experience of processing all applications under the points based system as well as applications for asylum, legacy, long residency, spouse visas, appeals, reconsiderations and judicial review applications.
He has regularly been appearing for appeals at the first and upper tribunal and assisted counsel in leading cases such as Secretary of State v Pankina & Others , AS (Afghanistan) & Others v Secretary of State  and RG (Automatic deportation – Section 33(2)(a) exception) Nepal . Zahab Jamali – Advisor
Muhammad Zahab Jamali is a highly educated and experienced Legal Advisor at Farani Taylor who has a strong legal background.
Besides completing his triple bachelors and double masters in law with top grades wherein he specialized in International and comparative studies of world constitutions, he was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2009. Has been awarded gold medal twice in Law.

Fehmina Farani – Advisor
Fehmina Farani is a Senior Legal Advisor with an extensive experience in immigration for the last 6 years. |Shah M Jahir Ali LLB (Hons) LLM - Solicitor
Shah is a member of Farani Javid Taylor immigration team.
Shah completed his LLM from the University of Dhaka and was qualified in Bangladesh in 2004. He is an Advocate in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh since 2008. Shah worked in telecom roll outs of Telenor, Nokia and Motorola which gave him the experience corporate-legal affairs besides his contentious legal practice.
Shah came to the UK in 2009 and retrained in London law firms and was qualified as Solicitor.
Shah worked with Miramar Legal before joining to Farai Javid Taylor Solicitors in 2011.
In addition to legal career Shah also holds the role of Head Imam and Khatib of Holborn HMCWA Mosque in central London.
Shah is a member of Bangladesh Law Association. He is involved in various community development activities.

Israel has always been highly active in his legal profession. Before joining the Farani Javid Taylor team, Israel was answering questions concerned with Immigration Law for a local newspaper named “Brazilian News.” Israel also participated in TV and Radio interviews broadcasted in London and Portugal.
Israel got his Law degree in Brazil in 2001 and came to the UK to enhance his own potential and develop new legal skills. He is about to graduate with a Masters Degree in European Union Law at University of Westminster and has been previously trained by prominent organisations such as the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) and the Immigration Law Practitioners Association (ILPA).
|Awais Javed – Advisor
Awais graduated from the London Metropolitan University with an LLB Degree in Law. He has also completed studying the Legal Practice Course is a Paralegal at Farani Javid Taylor. He is working in the immigration department alongside senior solicitors helping them handle matters such as asylum, student entry, immigration appeals and points based system applications. Christopher Cheng – Advisor
Christopher is a highly skilled and valued Legal Advisor at Farani Javid Taylor. Having joined the firm in early 2010 he has already established himself as an important addition to the Immigration Department. Christopher speaks four languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, French and English), and in addition to his Law Diploma, Christopher graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in French Cultural Studies.
Since May 2009 Christopher has worked closely with the Chinese Migrant Network. The charity assists vulnerable Chinese migrants in the UK to integrate better into British society by offering help with the English language, legal advice, medical advice etc.
