The government has launched a scheme to assist displaced care workers. These are ASC (adult social care) workers who are out of a job after their employer’s licence was revoked.Â
There are approximately 39,000 workers who can benefit from this scheme. The link is below-

Regional teams have been set up across the UK. Contact needs to be made by email with the relevant regional centre who will then assist the individual.Â
This support can include:
advice and guidance -help with understanding your visa status and employment rights
employment supportÂ
-Support in finding a new employer who can sponsor your visa
-help with accessing financial support if you are struggling due to job loss or unpaid wages
mental health and wellbeing support such as buddying schemes and help to access counselling
