Shameem, with a decade of legal and business support experience, joined Farani Taylor in September 2023. Specializing in the Wills & Probate department, she assists the Head of Islamic Wills and has quickly established herself as a confident communicator, both with clients and colleagues.
PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY:
Starting as a Legal Receptionist in East London, Shameem swiftly progressed to become a Legal Secretary handling cases in magistrates and criminal courts, including high-profile criminal defense matters. She further contributed as a PA to a Barrister specializing in Criminal Defense, managing cases involving drug trafficking, murder, rape, and fraud.
Her diverse roles include being an Office Coordinator for Litigation Support specialists, where she played a crucial part in major inquiries such as the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry, Bloody Sunday Inquiry (Ireland), and Harold Shipman Inquiry. She excelled in handling logistics for transporting highly confidential legal information on local, national, and international levels.
CREATIVE PURSUITS:
Beyond her legal expertise, Shameem channels her passion for creativity into running a small business crafting bespoke, artisan treats for corporate events and special occasions.
