Sally read Law at University of Hertfordshire and obtained a First Class degree (LLB Honours) and proceeded with her LPC at the same institution. Prior to joining Farani Taylor Solicitors in September 2018, she worked with Charity organisations whose emphasis were on strengthening families and communities. Her passion for Family Law started from the early stages of her Professional Career whereby her electives for both LLB and LPC courses were family law modules

Specialisms

She advises and represent clients on all areas of family law (Matrimonial Finance, Divorce/Dissolution, Domestic violence, Private Law – Children Matters, Public Law – Children Matters) and has worked with a broad spectrum of clients from different backgrounds. Sally has experience working on complex Public Law children’s matters with more emphasis on Child Care Proceedings were she represent vulnerable parents at Child Protection Case conferences and Court proceedings.
Prior to submitting Child Arrangements applications with the Court, she also recommends to parents, the importance of mediation should it be required, especially in cases where children are the subjects of the intended Court proceedings. She has experience of attending on behalf and advocating for vulnerable clients at Court before Magistrates, District Judges and Circuit Judges. Some of Sally’s clients have often been victims of domestic abuse, and she always ensure that they are signposted to other agencies who may offer additional support post proceedings.

Approach

Sally is very client focused and provides her clients with firm, realistic and practical advice and often obtain a pleasing fair outcome for her clients. Her empathetic approach combined with her professional knowledge gains her client’s confidence almost immediately following instructions.
She believes in negotiating client focused amicable settlements, where possible. However, should negations fail, she also has a strong and robust approach to court litigation if required.

Interests

Sally loves to spend time with her family during her spare time. She also enjoys long drives and site viewing in the Countryside.
